PASTOR'S WELCOME STATEMENT

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, and welcome to Christ Church by the Sea (United Methodist Church) on the Balboa Peninsula. This is a congregation with an exciting and vibrant future, built on the foundation of a strong and proud history.

We are a diverse multi-generational congregation of about 150 members. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere of welcome for all people, opportunities for Christian learning and service, and a place for continual growth in love and faith. If you are looking for a church home in the Newport-Mesa area, Christ Church by the Sea might be just the place for you.

Please join us for our 10:00 a.m. Sunday worship services (with child care always provided). Also, we offer Sunday School classes for children, youth and adults, and we encourage participation in Bible study groups, youth groups, choirs, United Methodist Women, men's group, community outreach projects, missions projects and Neighborhood Fellowship Groups.
